What is Echoflex?
Echoflex products are based on EnOcean wireless technology. EnOcean includes all the features of other wireless control technologies like ”peel and stick” installation of sensors, simple adaptation to a tenants changing needs, and reduced wiring costs.
With EnOcean, the radios require very little power allowing ambient energy sources to power the sensors eliminating the maintenance burden of replacing batteries and disposing of them. With EnOcean, the push of a light switch or the light within an office is all that’s needed to energize the sensor and broadcast the signal.
Echoflex products and solutions can take any space, new construction or retrofit, and transform them into smart spaces without any dependency on centralized controls.

How We Work
The EnOcean radio transmission is robust and secure with each radio containing a 32 bit code from the factory allowing for over 4 billion unique codes.
Why so many numbers?
The code is unique to each radio so duplicate control signals is virtually impossible eliminating the chance your light switch operates your neighbors’ office lamp. Each transmission has built-in redundancy with the data packet being sent a minimum, 3 times per transmission.
When radio signals bounce around inside a building, sometimes obstacles get in their way causing the signal to get ‘lost’. With Echoflex, any controller can be configured as a signal repeater allowing the EnOcean transmissions to ‘circumvent’ metal objects or extend a sensor’s transmission range.
Sensors or switches enabled with EnOcean technology can be assigned to as many controllers as needed with no limitations. And each controller can have up to 30 sensors or switches assigned making it easy to create multi-input control strategies like 4 way switching lighting circuits.
